Kho-Kho
In Humanities me and my partner Darren studied Kho-Kho. No I'm not talking about the tasty cocoa that comes from cocoa beans. Kho-Kho is a traditional Indian sport that has been played in India for thousands of years. Some people think that it even dates back to the Mahabharata. It is played on a field 27 meters by 18 meters. The game consists of two halves each 7 minutes long. After each half, the teams switch the roles of chasing and defending. Our projects driving question was whether Kho-Kho could have impacted the caste system and united the lower castes. To show this we made a prezi that linked Kho-Kho to the caste system.
Here is a link to our prezi.
